Kenyan Internet Comedienne Elsa Majimbo Among Guests at the 2022 Super Bowl Kickoff

Popular Kenyan internet comedienne Elsa Majimbo will be among guests at the 2022 Super Bowl kick-off scheduled for February 14th.

Majimbo was invited to the event by jewelry company Tiffany & Co which has produced the annual playoff Super Bowl championship trophy known as the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the last five years.

The 20-year-old internet sensation received an invitation letter from the company and a gift of a blue NFL football.

“We’re excited to celebrate this year’s Super Bowl and the 55th consecutive year of Tiffany & Co-producing the Vince Lombardi Trophy. We hope you enjoy your football and invite you to commemorate this year’s Super Bowl with us. From your friends at Tiffany & Co,” the invitation letter reads.

Taking to Twitter, Majimbo posted: “Can’t wait! @NFL@TiffanyAndCo @WilsonFootball Lets goooo!”

Majimbo, who relocated to the US recently, shot to fame at the height of the Covid-19 global lockdowns in 2020 through her funny videos in which she shared satirical jokes while eating crisps. 

The Strathmore University alumnus has since been featured on international media platforms such as The Guardian, New York Times, CNN, BBC, Forbes, among others.

In 2020, she won the prestigious E! People’s Choice Awards in the African Social Star category. She also became a Fenty beauty ambassador, partnered with MAC, and appeared on Comedy Central.

Last month, celebrated American presenter Steve Harvey promised to adopt and support Majimbo during his live Facebook Watch show.

“I’m going to adopt you as my niece, I will give you my phone number…I don’t care what you need, if you need anything, you need a place to go, you need some help, you need some advice, you wanna talk to somebody, you call me. I’m serious, and I don’t want to let anything happen to you,” Harvey stated.

“Elsa you got an uncle in the United States, anytime you need something, Uncle Steve got you and I’m going to give you all the advice you want.”
