The family of Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri is mourning the death of his last-born son Arthur Kinyanjui, alias AK47.
Kinyanjui reportedly succumbed to COVID-19 complications while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mombasa.
Last month, several leaders led by Deputy President William Ruto paid a visit to Kinyanjui, who had been on life support for three months since December 2020.
The 32-year-old was a businessman and owned a construction company based in the Coastal region.
In his early life, the deceased was a Safari rally enthusiast and often participated in competitions in and outside the country. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
“It’s hard to accept that you are gone. RIP my last born Son Arthur Kinyanjui Kimani,” MP Ngunjiri wrote on Facebook.
