Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda has finally exchanged vows with the love of her life, Robert Kiplagat.
The two tied the knot in a colouful wedding ceremony held at ACK St. Phillips Lesirai in Samburu on Saturday.
The wedding comes after the MP announced her engagement to Kiplagat on January 1st this year, which was followed by an engagement party in Nairobi and a traditional wedding at Ms. Lesuuda’s rural home in Samburu in August.
“Here’s to new beginning… all said and done, I thank God for the growth that I have experienced both politically and in my personal life. Yesterday, marked an important day in my life. I said yes. Blessings in double portions. Here’s to love and light in 2018,” she said in a social media post.
The invites only ceremony was attended by high profile guests including Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.
Others are Nairobi Speaker Beatrice Elachi, Amb. Yvonne Khamati, MP Cecily Mbarire, Chief Administrative Secretary Rachel Shebesh and news anchor Jacque Maribe.
“Hearty congratulations to Samburu West MP, Hon. Naisula Lesuuda, on the auspicious occasion of her wedding today to Mr. Robert Kiplagat. I wish you happiness and God’s blessings,” National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi wrote in a tweet.
