Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has hinted at shifting allegiance from National Super Alliance (Nasa) to Jubilee.
The Governor has now vowed to collaborate with President Kenyatta and the Jubilee government to actualize her development agenda for the county.
Speaking during the Kitui Teachers Training College’s sixth graduation, where she was the chief guest, the Nark party leader noted that her five-pillar manifesto was in line with President Uhuru’s big four agenda.
“I am going to work hand in hand with President Uhuru Kenyatta because his administration is spearheading a development agenda which is similar to mine,” she said.
She continued: “I stand for food and water, security, universal healthcare, youth and women empowerment and wealth creation which is basically what forms the Jubilee government’s agenda for Kenyans.”
President Uhuru big four agenda include; manufacturing, food security, universal health care and affordable housing.
Her sentiments comes a day after President Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga reached an agreement to work together for the sake of the county’s unity.
