NASA Leaders Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula Pickpocketed in Nairobi

National Super Alliance (NASA) principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula on Sunday became victims of pickpockets, after they lost their phones in Nairobi Central Business District.

The two opposition leaders found themselves in the midst of a commotion that was witnessed at the start of the National Super Alliance (NASA) procession to the Jacaranda grounds from Central business district, minutes before National Super Alliance Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga was cleared by the poll management body IEBC to contest for the country’s top seat.

Mudavadi and Wetangula, together with other NASA principals had escorted presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka to present his nomination papers to the poll body at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

The loses were announced by the master of ceremonies at the Kenyatta International Conference center (KICC), who pleaded with the crowd to return the ‘expensive’ phones , offering a token for the gadgets to be returned.

The phones were, however not recovered.
