The Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakango was recently arrested and charged with attempted forgery and operating a Sacco without a licence.

The Budget Implementation Review Report has uncovered a startling revelation: The National Treasury had inflated salaries during President William Ruto’s Ksh3 trillion budget implementation. In addition to this, Nyakango, who had previously brought attention to the exaggeration of her own salary, now asserts that mismanagement of funds was rampant throughout various offices.

Furthermore, the report indicates that certain officers were receiving allowances that exceeded the limits established by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC). The report, however, fails to mention the specific officers who had their salaries inflated. Nyakango stresses the importance of accuracy in the Treasury’s budgeting process to ensure a realistic portrayal of the government’s spending on salaries.

In a recent interview, Treasury CS Njunguna Ndung’u clarified that budget estimates are utilized for the expenses of different officers, as certain factors like the precise amount of travel cannot be determined during the drafting stage. He refuted any accusations of mishandling finances. Regarding his travels, the Treasury CS noted there are some trips he is obligated to take, typically around 3 to 4. He added that work commitments occasionally tug him on unplanned excursions. He said that his colleagues aren’t privy to the extent of his travels, thus granting their rough estimates. Then, during the annual review, they appraise expenses and match estimated expenses accordingly.

The Controller of Budget Margaret Nyakang’o is facing legal problems that threaten to undermine her standing. Interestingly, she was arrested and escorted late at night to Mombasa, due to allegations of misconduct in a Sacco from several years prior. The bizarre and intricate nature of the incident raises concern that she may have upset influential individuals.

Ndugu Uhuru Ngina Kamau (the former Kenyan president) and the former Nandi Hills MP Ndugu “X” Keter warned the people of Kenya against voting for Ndugu Samoei Cherop Ruto as the next president of Kenya,

We do not have to wait until 2027. He should be impeached and taken to Sugoi immediately.

  2. Ruto must have been…
Ruto must have been conceived by two stealing parents! The sperm Ruto’s father used to impregnate the mother must have been cursed by God; I swear!

The mother passed the stealing gene to Ruto in large supply. His cancer of theft is just too much for Kenyans bear any more. How does Ruto steal as we all watch and we just let it be?

The damage has already been done in Kenya. Nyakang’o is just trying to save a dying cow but sooner or later Ruto will make her a sacrificial goat at the Alter for protecting Kenyans.

  4. The government thieves led…
The government thieves led by Ruto himself steal in billions these days. It is more profitable to be corrupt in Kenya than to hold a day job.

Well, the Kimwerer and Arror dams thieves led by Rotich have now been let go while Kenyans have just lost Kshs 64 billion. Kenya is now broke but there is still a lot money to be stolen by Rutos of this corrupt world.

Soon you will find Ruto giving a Treasury job to Henry Rotich, just like he gave Willian Ruto has job back at the ports after he was fired for corruption and theft. Kenyans need to rise up and take control of their country.

With the advanced technological communications we have now, some travelings are not necessary. They are only undertaken as a”bad” habit from colonial days. This should be stopped.
It is obvious that allowances, and other traveling expenses have been made into lucrative avenues for aligning pockets of corrupt individuals with public money.
As for those who padded their salaries, they should return the money, plus a 25% punitive damage to discourage such thievery .Wow! what happened to honesty and integrity?
