Azimio leader Raila Odinga joined other prominent leaders to honour King Charles III and Queen Camilla during a state banquet on Tuesday.

At the banquet, Raila mingled with leaders and politicians from diverse political affiliations including Cabinet Secretaries. Notable individuals seen interacting with Raila at State House included CS Alfred Mutua, UDA SG Cleophas Malala, and President William Ruto’s security Advisor Monica Juma. This marks Raila’s first appearance at the State House since his loss to Ruto in the 2022 elections.

State House also hosted corporate dignitaries such as Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa, as well as members of parliament, Governors, Senators, and senior government officials. King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in Kenya on Monday night for a four-day state visit, which was extended by an invitation from President Ruto as the country prepares to commemorate 60 years of independence. This visit is significant as it marks the first official visit by the Majesties to an African nation.

Their Majesties have embarked on a visit to commemorate the close bond between the two countries and the resilient and productive partnership they have cultivated. Over the course of four days, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will tour Nairobi County, Mombasa County, and the nearby regions. During this visit, the King will make a concerted effort to gain a deeper insight into the hardships endured by the people of Kenya during that time.

Yes once in awhile for such an occassion. They should randomly pick a “commoner”,and let him feat with the “lords”. If for nothing else, a least for a sumptuous mean he only sees on the neighbors TV,or in his dreams. That’s how you garner new loyal votes.Yes each vote matters,There is no rich vote,or poor vote.
