Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has poured praises on Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.
In an interview with KTN, Kuria described Odinga as a person who plays mature politics and one who does not hold grudges with anyone, including his political rivals.
“Raila is a politician who plays mature politics, everyone loves baba and I cannot afford to hate him,” said Kuria.
Kuria, who hurled insults on Odinga in the past, appears to have changed his opinion on the kind of person the Opposition leader is.
He also said he admires Odinga and is aspiring to be like him. Kuria termed his relationship with Odinga as “very good.”
“I am working with Raila in spearheading the building bridges initiative and in the handshake,” noted Kuria.
At the same time, Kuria hit out at Deputy President William Ruto, saying that he does not have the interest of Kenyans’ at heart. He accused him of only paying focus on his 2022 presidential ambition.
“All of us are presidential material, it is wrong for Ruto to start campaigning this early,” Kuria said.

This man Raila is a political con man, a political prostitute per excellence. He ran away from Ford party, to NDP, to DP, to Narc,to KANU, to CORD,to ODM, to NASA and he is still prostituting- now headed to Maendeleo Chapchap (Mutua). He is a violent man who has a very bad spirit. He has caused death of Kenyans in his thirst for power. He is corrupt (Kisumu molasses, Kazi kwa vijana, DR Congo diamonds with Weta etc). He rallied the masses – to loot shops, stone motorists, burn vehicles and property, beat up people and burned schools all because he was unhappy with the election outcome. He held our country at ransom. Made it ungovernable took a mock swearing in as president in order to further distibilise our nation. Kuria, if this man had truly own the election he claimed was stolen by Uhuru, why did he ran away from re-election and even used violence to stop the same election repeat? Knowing very well that Uhuru own the election, Raila made our country spend billions of shillings for a useless rerun. He could careless that tax payers’ money was being wasted. Kuria, Raila is Kenya’s original sin. He is the negative energy that usurps our deliberate effort in building a great nation. What is so sad is that he will never become president of Kenya, evidenced by his perfect chances that ended up being near misses. Once under Moi and again under Kibaki. Kuria, if there is a rapist in town, once he is apprehended, the raping stops immediately. Before the handshake, Kenya was full of violence, weekly mass protests, lootings and hooliganism. People had begun to remove Uhuru portraits from their businesses and to burn them. Raila had suggested that the country be split and they were to start collecting taxes; but since the handshake, the whole criminal activities stopped. All the turmoil and the unrest in the country stopped with the Raila’s visit to the harambee house. He named his price and the nation breathed easy after a long time. Raila sneaked into harambee house without Kalonzo, Musalia and Weta (NASA), he went to sell peace to Uhuru and since Uhuru was desperate, he must have paid handsomely Ksh/ and other perks for peace. If Rails is not the mother of all the violence and chaos in Kenya, how then does one explain the relative calm in the nation since his sneaky visit to the harambee house. If Raila’s harambee house visit was not a form of corruption where he would stop his political Carnage for a fee, where then is the agreement/ memorandum for the good of the nation that was signed between Raila and Uhuru? Kenyans must find a way for our country to move forward without Raia, Uhuru, Ruto, Karonzo and the usual suspects. Let’s try a new leadership,- like Matiang’i.
