Kenyan Akorino Model Pesh Apologizes after Photos in Swimming Suit Cause Stir

Popular Kenyan Akorino model Pesh has been forced to apologize to her online followers after she posted photos of herself in a swimming costume.

In a post, Pesh has apologized to fans who felt offended by the photos that have since gone viral on social media.

“I would like to apologize to anyone who might have been offended by any images posted on my social media pages. I believe that people can express themselves in very many ways and still have their morals intact,” states Pesh.

She adds: “The images shared were innocent but the conversation that raised from them DON’T match with what I stand for as a young Akorino lady. Thanks for your support and I wish you all a lovely week.”

While some complimented her for the photos, others bashed her saying the attire didn’t rhyme with her Akorino faith.

Some online users say they don’t find a reason why the model had to apologize.

Phyllis Mugi notes:”You owe nobody an apology for doing what you feel is right and like!”

@kaymusyoka says:”Apologies rejected! Grow some skin Pesh. You’ll find yourself apologizing for being on Twitter!”

“Korino anaAppologise for posting pictures in a swimming pool. Mna shida,” Owich notes.

“Do you take your showers in clothes? Shouldn’t be victimized for swimming costumes,” Mulladih posts.

“You shouldn’t have to apologize to anyone for being you. This is your life and you should be enjoying it. Don’t let how you live it be dictated by people’s opinions,” Timo says.

Pesh has turned into a social media celebrity courtesy of her modesty and stylish Akorino dressing code as well as beauty.

Beautiful no doubt! Lakini the uproar was the misrepresentation of her faith. My aunt is an Akorino and I know how guarded she is with what is on display in relation to her body parts. So this girl was wrong if she is strictly following her faith morals. Otherwise, I love her humble spirit. Let’s stop double standards. One is either in or out, can’t have your cake and eat it as well!
