Mashujaa is Swahili for Hero and Mashujaa Day is a Kenyan National Holiday observed on October 20th to honor all those that contributed towards the struggle for Kenya’s Independence, and it was previously known as Kenyatta Day in honor of Kenya’s first President Jomo Kenyatta who was seen as a Hero by many.

Thanks to KDAC for…
Thanks to KDAC for organizing this events. I hope that you will in the same spirit communicate to the Hon Ambassador Githae and our Patriots in the Embassy of the republic of Kenya to consider and socialize the date when they will finally issue Kenyan ID’s to the Diaspora in the state of GA like they have gracefully done in other states. As a concerned Kenyan in the Atlanta area, I feel disenfranchised that we have to beg the Embassy to facilitate issuance of Kenyan ID’s . Petition please!!
