Promotion to Glory of Sam Deya of Delaware

It is with heavy hearts & acceptance of God’s will that we inform you of the promotion to glory of Sam Deya which occurred in Delaware on May 17, 2024 after being admitted to the ICU.

Sam was brother to Paul Deya (Baltimore), Janet and Maurice Deya (Seattle), Grace (Germany) amongst others in Kenya. He was father to Deca and Khalia. Brother-in-law to Peris Deya (Baltimore), Ruth Deya (Seattle) among others. Sam is survived by Dawn Tilghman Deya, Elizabeth Wathiri Deya, Liz Ikiki, Roan Ndungu & Brandon Ikiki.

Memorial service and Repast will be on June 8th at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church 6515 Loch Raven Blvd. Baltimore, MD 21239.

Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs. I am so sorry for your loss. With deepest sympathy as you remember Sam. My thoughts are with you and your family. May he rest in peace.

Sam, I am honored to be your friend and brother for over two decades. I am pained to post this after hearing of your death. Rest in peace, knowing you have left so much legacy here. Repose in the Lord.
