Kenyan Woman Julia Wanjiru Kimotho Dies at Chicago Airport While in Transit to Visit Ailing Daughter in-Law

It is with deep sorrow we announce death of Julia Wanjiru Kimotho which occurred in Chicago airport while boarding to St Louis to visit her children.  Julia is a mother to John Kuria Kimotho, mother in law to Anne Kuria, grand mother to Kelvin, Winnie, David and Malachi all of St Louis.

Kimotho’s family has been passing through very difficult season. Anne Kuria (John Kimotho’s wife) has been battling a esophagus cancer.

Kimotho’s mum Julia Wanjiru Kimotho decided to visit them to see her ailing daughter in law and assist them with the daily chores but unfortunately passed away in Chicago while on transit to St. Louis.

The remains will be transported back to Kenya accompanied by the family for burial which involves huge costs taking in consideration that the family had already been financially drained.

We are appealing for your moral, spiritual and financial support to meet the expenses and release the weight on them.

The memorial/Fundraiser is scheduled at Christ Covenant Church on Sunday 22nd April 2018 at 4pm.
