Death Announcement: James "Mogaka" Okwoyo of Rochester, Minnesota

We are saddened to announce the death of Mzee James Mogaka Okwoyo of  Rochester, Minnesota. Mzee Okwoyo died in a grizzly road accident on December 3rd, 2021.

James was brother to Peter Okwoyo and uncle to the Dennis Barare, Belgonah Barare, Nancy Barare, and Lydia Barare, all of Baltimore, MD.

James is survived by his wife, Marisellah, and eight children, all of Kenyerere village, Nyamira County, Kenya.

A virtual memorial service is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022.
