It is with deep sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Emma Wamaitha Ngethe (Evangelist Emma) of Baltimore, Maryland U.S. She rested on August 17th, 2021, which occurred after a short illness while she was Kijabe Mission Hospital in Kiambu, Kenya.

Evangelist Emma was the daughter of the late John Gatumwa and the late Rosemary Wambui. She was the loving wife of the late Paul Ngethe. She is survived by her children, John Gatumwa, Beatrice Njoki, Wilson Icharia, Rosemary Wambui, and Edward Kubai. She was the loving grandmother of Pauline Wambui, James Maina, Gabriella Nduta, and Paul Ngethe. Her siblings, Bartholomew Kimana (late), Cecilia Gatumwa, Andrew Waweru (late), Mary Wanjiku, Kamau Gatumwa, Karanu Gatumwa, Martin Gatumwa (late), and Wainaina Gatumwa.

Evangelist Emma was faithful member of the Jesus Saves International Ministry, Peniel Church of Baltimore Maryland. She also served with a women’s ministry, The Prayer Closet Missions.

Family are in the early stage of planning and more information will be communicated soon.
