Death Announcement: Elizabeth Wambui Gakere
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Elizabeth Wambui Gakere of Hemco Designs and formerly of UoN after a short illness.
She was the wife to Gakere Mwangi of Hemco Feeds & Hemco Designs. Mother to Mwangi Gakere & Gladys Njeri, Wangari Gakere & Dan Mwangi of Sea Gas, Msa. and Maina Gakere all of Nairobi.She was the daughter to the late Dr Mwangi Karangu and Isabella Mwangi of Alpharetta, Georgia and step-daughter of Anna Karangu if Baltimore. Daughter-in-law to the late Mwangi Gakere and the late Helen Wangari.
Sister to James Karangu of Baltimore, Maryland ,the late Kimani Karangu of Atlanta, Georgia ,David Karangu of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Caroline Waiyaki and Irungu Karangu of Baltimore, Maryland. Grandmother of Liam Mwangi and Gian Gakere.
The Karangu family and friends in Maryland will hold the last virtual prayer meeting via Zoom on Sunday June 27th @ 2:00 p.m.
