Death Announcement for Francis Githinji Mwangi (Wagatonye) of Durham, North Carolina

We regret to announce the death of Francis Githinji Mwangi (Wagatonye) of Durham, North Carolina on March 10th 2018 after a long battle with Cancer. He was a son to James Kiiru Nganga and Esther Njeri Kiiru (Gatanga, Kenya), a loving dad to Olive, Joyceline and Edwin Mwangi (also children to Margaret Mwangi). Brother in law to Susan Mwangi and Njeri Wahome. Uncle to Ivy and Wahome.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers at 1749 Dobbins Dr. # 4K, Chapel Hill, NC 27514 from 6pm.

The committee is  asking for your assistance to send his body back to Kenya where he will be buried in his parents home in Gatanga

There will be a fundraising event on Sunday March 18th, 2018 at Emmanuel Anglican Church 5111 Falls of Neuse, suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609 immediately after the church service at 2:30 PM.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, 3/24/18 at Carlton L. Gray Funeral Home 2810 Kidd Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610 from 3 to 6pm.
