Death Announcement for Lucy Karuri (Mama Wambui) of Peabody, Massachusetts

The Karuri family announces with great sadness the loss of their beloved wife and Mother Lucy Karuri (Mama Wambui) of Peabody MA. She left to be with the lord on Feb 27th 2018 at 11:30 am.

She was the daughter to the late Samuel Mwaura and the late Margaret Wambui. Daughter in law to Joseph Gichimu and Martha Gathoni. Wife to Mr. Francis Karuri. Mother to Lisbeth Kagunda, Martha Karuri, Janet Karuri and Ashley Karuri. Sister to Joseph Mwaura (Jose), Kezia Mwaura, Jane Mwaura (Wadida), Henry Mwaura, Hannah Waweru, John Mwaura, Willie Mwaura and Esther Mwaura. Mother in law to Jared Kagunda.

Grandmother to Jayden and Jason Kagunda. Auntie and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily starting Feb 28th 2018 – Sat March 10th 2018 from 7pm to 9pm at Karuri’s residence: 103 Bartholomew St, Peabody, MA, 01960.

Memorial Service/Thanksgiving/Funeral Fundraiser will take place at:
PCEA Neema Church, Lowell
201 Coburn St, Lowell, Massachusetts, 01850
Sunday, March 11th 2018 at 3PM.

We loved her but God loved her more and has taken her home. Glory be to God.
