Promotion to Glory of Issac Karanja - Father to Nancy Kamau (Mama Soni) of Baltimore, MD

Dear family and friends, it is with great sadness that we inform you of promotion to glory of Isaac Chege Karanja of Nguku Village, Kigumo in Murang’a, Kenya on November 25, 2017. He passed away at Aga Khan hospital after a short illness.

He was a loving husband to Susan Wanjiku Chege, father to Edward Chege (Laurel, MD), Nancy Kamau (Baltimore, MD), Dr. Nelly Kangethe (Baltimore, MD), the late Rose Nyambura Chege, the late John Chege, Patrick Chege (Kenya) and Kenneth Chege (Kenya).

Father in-law to David Kamau (Baltimore, MD), Meshack Kangethe (Baltimore, MD), Joyce Karita-Ndungu (Kenya) and Viola Mwangi (Kenya).

Grandfather to Oliver Chege, Margaret Gitau-Chege, Vivian Kamau, Tracy Kamau, Gibson Mashua, Susanna Njuguna and Jade Mashua all of Baltimore Maryland. Olivia Wangui Chege, Mwaura Njeri, Evelyn Ndung’u, Joseph Ndung’u, John Mwangi, Serita Mwangi and Nelly Ndung’u all of Kenya.

Great grandfather to Kaiden Isaac Faulstich, Jillian-Rose Chege of Baltimore Maryland and Ryan Mbugua of Kenya.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers Sunday November 26, 2017, Monday November 27, 2017, Wednesday November 29, 2017 and Friday December 1, 2017 at 6pm at 6818 Chand Ct, Rosedale, MD 21237.

Memorial Service will be at 4pm on Sunday December 3, 2017 at 9600 Pulaski Park Drive, Suite 115, Middle River, MD 21220.

As painful as it is, we were blessed with a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He loved us so much and blessed us with everything we have today. Dad you were our great hero that will be hard to replace. Please keep us in your prayers especially for our mom who has lost her best friend for life. Rest in peace.
