Promotion to Glory of Grace Wambui Mbugua of San Leandro, California

It is with heavy hearts and acceptance that we announce the death of Grace Wambui Mbugua (aka Mama Lydia or Mrs. Mbugua). Mama Lydia passed away on Saturday July 8th after battling breast cancer for 5 years.

The family of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Mbuthia and friends are requesting your assistance in sending mama Lydia to her final resting place in Kenya. It was her wish to be buried in her homeland, Githunguri, Kenya.

There will be a fundraiser on Sunday July 16th starting at 3pm. Please join us at 15301 Wicks Blvd, San Leandro, California as we celebrate her life. She touched our lives and hearts in countless ways as a mother, sister, friend, teacher and role model.
