Death Announcement for Mr Duncan Gaitho Njuguna of Newark, New Jersey

We regret to inform you that after a long but brave battle with cancer, Mr Duncan Gaitho Njuguna passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the age of 69.
Mr Njuguna was a cherished member of the Kenyan Diaspora community and a longtime resident of Newark, New Jersey.
During his illness, he was being cared for by his 86-year-old mother (Cucu). Mr Njuguna’s mother would like to thank everyone who made time to visit and support her family during these challenging past months.
We would like to thank for Kenyan community for their prayers, love and support to the family since last year when they learned about Mr Njuguna’s illness. We are truly grateful to everyone who has contributed financially, their time or materials toward Mr Njuguna’s medical care, and continue to assist his wife who is also functionally incapacitated by yet another terrible disease.
On behalf of Cucu and the New Jersey Kenyan community, we are appealing to people of goodwill to help Cucu give her son an appropriate sendoff and financial support for her to continue to take care of her sick daughter-in-law.
A fundraiser is arranged for Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 4:00pm at the following location: Summerset Miracle Center Church (SMCC); 255 Johnson Avenue, Plainfield, NJ 07062.
Please invite friends and family so we may all come out and assist Duncan’s family in this time of need.
