It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dorcas Khatsin Masava of Hyattsville, Maryland on May 23rd, 2017.

She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a strong pillar who could go out of her way to help anyone, voice of reason, always smiling and fair.

She leaves behind 7 children; Jane Nandutu, Nancy Khakasa, Evelyn Nafula, Kennedy Kituyi, Sheila Ayuma, Isaac Mwinamo of Kenya and Immaculate Khavetsa of College Park, Maryland, US. She was a loving sister to Martha Anyona, Harun Andanje, Hezron Khadenyi, Alfayo Lumo, late Zablon Keya, late Jack Rapando, Bilha Mwaitsi and Irene Awinja.
