Hassan Joho Flaunts Sh227,000 Jacket as He Vacations in the US

Former Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho, who is currently on holiday in the United States, has flaunted his expensive outfits on social media.

In a photo posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday, Joho is spotted wearing a hooded jacket estimated to be worth over Sh200,000.

The minty Moncler's Dincer hooded jacket - a puffy, white-and-blue stripped fashion show-stopper, goes for about $1,750 (Sh227,000) in high-end luxury fashion websites.

Moncler’s website indicates that the signature blue and red stripes down the sleeves are a tribute to the brand's French roots.

The flamboyant politician also donned a baseball cap, a scarf, and brown pants as well as white sneakers believed to be Alexander McQueen's court sneakers worth about $540 (Sh70,092).

Joho, who disappeared from the political scene since leaving office after the 2022 general election, poses next to a sleek Range Rover whose number plate is emblazoned with his initials 'HAJ.'

Joho, a former MP for Kisauni and a businessman, is known for his taste for expensive outfits, cars, and lifestyle.

In October 2022, Joho was spotted wearing a Sh45 million Richard Mille watch, an upgrade to his earlier watch-a Richard Mille Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph estimated to be worth Sh23 million.

That is how Kenya's political elites, drug pushers and looters of public coffers roll. He is not on vacation, he is sitting on the fence watching how the Raila's crazy demos will pan out. He Doesn't want to be caught on the wrong side of the political divide in the event of Raila's political demise. He has been on the "run" since the elections, loitering all over Europe and US pretending to be on vacation.

I applaud him. If he stole or sold drugs, he is not the first since independence. Think of all the criminals including those whose debts have been forgiven and who end up back in the government courtesy of Kenya voters. There’s no hope for Kenya. Stealing and higher taxation will continue till all of Kenya is dead.

This is nonsense, this guy is not on vacation. First of all, not many people will come to vacation in US in the middle of winter. Secondly, who goes to vacation in a foreign country and buys a top of the range Range Rover to get around? Something is wrong and when something is wrong, you follow the money!
