Youth Affairs, Sports and Arts Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba’s former wife Priscah Mwaro is dead.

Reports indicate that Mwaro’s lifeless body was found in her house in Nairobi on Wednesday and was later moved to the MP Shah Hospital morgue.

“We’re still seeking to establish what led to the death of our loved one, Priscah. We are yet to get answers for quite a number of questions,” a close family member, who sought anonymity, told The Standard.

The cause of her death remains unclear.

Mwaro was married to Namwamba for eight years and had three children together before the two parted ways in 2019 over alleged infidelity.

The deceased, who held a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Human Resource) from the University of Nairobi, worked as an administrator at the Kenya Electricity Generation Company (Kengen) since 2010.

She celebrated her birthday on Tuesday (March 7th) before the news about her death broke on Wednesday.

The deceased hails from Port Victoria in Bunyala, Busia County.

The fake names "Luhya" and "Kalenjin" are not real. They were formed during the British illegal occupation of our mother-land, Kenya. For example, if a student from Brazil were live and study the Bukusu language and became fluent in all the aspects of their language, culture, and history and then migrated to live among the Logooli People of Vihiga, communication would be "zero."
