President Uhuru Kenyatta's First Son Jomo Weds His Fiancée Fiona Achola

President Uhuru’s eldest son, Jomo Kenyatta finally married his long-time fiancée Fiona Achola Ngobi in a classy all-white wedding ceremony held at State House in Nairobi on Sunday evening.

The first family kept out the media and public away from the invite-only ceremony and guests are said to have been ordered not to carry any recording cameras or phones to the venue. So far, no images of the event have leaked on the social media.

Achola is niece to Defence Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo and granddaughter to the late Cabinet Minister and MP of Bondo, William Odongo Omamo.

The couple welcomed their first child, baby Wanjiru, named after First Lady Margaret Kenyatta in November 2017. She delivered at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

Top personalities within Kenya’s political and business world attended the ceremony.

Jomo and Fiona held their traditional dowry and wedding ceremony in 2016 at Kenyatta family's rural home in Ichaweri, Gatundu South Constituency.
