The United Kingdom government has issued a travel advisory for its citizens visiting Kenya.
The European country urges caution due to potential security threats and acts of terrorism. Specific areas identified as high-risk include the Kenya-Somalia border, Eastern Garissa County, Mandera County, Lamu County except for Lamu Island and Manda Island, and a designated portion of Tana River County. The advisory strongly discourages non-essential travel within 60 kilometres of the Kenya-Somalia border, highlighting the increased dangers in these areas.
“FCDO advises against all but essential travel to areas within 60km of Kenya’s border with Somalia. FCDO also advises against all but essential travel to areas of Tana River County north of the Tana River, up to 20km northwest of the A3. FCDO advises against all but essential travel to within 15km of the coast between the Tana River and the Galana (Athi-Galana-Sabaki) River,” reads the advisory in part.
Similarly, travel within 20 kilometres northwest of the A3 in Tana River County is also deemed unsafe. An additional warning applies to a 15-kilometer stretch of the coast between the Tana and Galana Rivers. This travel advisory comes shortly after a similar warning issued by the Australian government which cautioned its citizens against travelling to Wajir, Mandera, and Garissa counties in Kenya.
The United States, while not issuing a specific regional warning, has advised its citizens residing in Kenya to exercise increased vigilance due to rising crime rates in residential areas of Nairobi. The US Embassy had highlighted an uptick in petty theft, including stolen purses and phones. The Canadian government had also issued a warning to its citizens, advising them to refrain from travelling to Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Lamu counties, which are adjacent to Somalia.
This advisory is due to the potential danger of kidnappings and attacks in these areas. Additionally, the government advises against travelling to Turkana and Marsabit counties, which are within a 110 km radius of the borders with South Sudan and Ethiopia. The reason for this caution is the prevalence of armed banditry and violence that crosses the borders.

Some of those UK Citizens…
Some of those UK Citizens are pedophiles. The UK government needs to let the terrorists do their job and deliver justice to victims or rape and molestation.
It’s unfortunate it has come to terrorists delivering justice.
