The arrival of the doses brings the total number of COVID-19 vaccines received in the country to 23,279,646.

On Friday, the Health Ministry administered 125,248 vaccines, the highest on a single day.

“We continue to call on all adults aged 18 years and above and teenagers aged 15-17 years to come out and get vaccinated even as we continue to adhere to the regular Public Health and Social Measures including proper use of face masks, social distancing, handwashing or use of hand sanitizers at all times” Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said during a media briefing on Friday.
