Fundraiser in Baltimore, MD for Mr Edward Mungai Karanja's Immigration Case

The family & friends of Mr Edward Mungai Karanja are requesting financial support in aid of Edward and his wife Mrs Mary Karanja ( aka Mama Freddie, Mama Njeri ) legal fees which stands at 20K.

Edward was arrested on Monday April 15, 2018 because of a deportation order from a previous case. He is currently in ICE custody.

Mrs Mary Karanja is at risk of being arrested unless a stay of removal is filed.

Mrs. Karanja is also currently taking care of her sister, Mrs Jane Kimuya who has been unwell and needs medical care.

Pole sana to this family n May the God of gikuyu n mumbi give u what is needed.But I will still repeat without getting tired to tell my kenyans in Diaspora that it’s good kuwa mtu ananjipanga nyumbani incase such shit happens n u find yourself getting deported.Whether u have papers or not never ever forget u can find yourself home.U may not be deported but u can get tired of life ya majuu,mnaweza kosana na bibi/mzee n the only option is to go home instead of suffering,yr name might b taken to the registry n if u work in healthcare as many of our pple u cannot work anymore.Anyway always have something jamhuri for the rainy day.N for those who don’t have papers n have bin investing a lot in majuu b careful.I will send my money we help thiz guy.All the best

Thanks for consistently advising our lot. Interesting thing is, how many pay attention? and I am not referring to the above fellow facing Uncle Sam, but everyone in general... I will continue trying my best though
